Fungus has been involved in aviation since he was in high school. He soloed his first airplane when he was 17 his senior year. Immediately after school he went on to college to attend Henderson State University in his home State of Arkansas. Life through a wrench in the whole situation and he ended up attending an agricultural crop-dusting school in South Dakota. He went on to Receive his Private, Instrument and Commercial license. Afterwards, he went to work in aerial photography and surveyed large portions of the Midwest. Eventually, he earned his CFI, CFII, and MEI. After building hours in his home state, and then he went on to purchase a 1946 Taylorcraft BC-12D. He quickly fell in love with bush flying and became an experience tailwheel pilot. He has always had a passion for aerobatics and now he carries out his dreams at Sky Combat Ace.
As a side passion, Fungus is a huge hockey fan and is very active in various leagues around Vegas.
