Aaron “Fungus” Nathans grew up in eastern Pennsylvania mowing laws and fueling airplanes to trade for flight time. It didn’t take long to discover his love of aerobatic flight after getting a ride in a classic Stearman bi-plane. Afterwards, he moved out to Arizona to get all of his licenses and eventually become a CFII with over 2000 flight hours.
Looking for a new challenge, Fungus tried his hand as a commercial pilot flying a CRJ-900 for Mesa Airlines. No matter how hard he tried, he couldn’t forget his aerobatic roots and before long, Fungus found himself flying for Sky Combat Ace doing what he truly loves and sharing it with others for a once in a lifetime experience.
